Buchu (Latin name: Agathosma betulina) is an evergreen plant belonging to the Rutaceae family and thriving in South Africa. The leaves of the plant are used to produce tinctures and other herbal preparations. Buchu is known for its characteristic scent, which is similar to that of eucalyptus.
