Eclipta alba, known in Ayurveda as Bhringaraj, is considered one of the most important rejuvenating herbs for the liver, hair and overall vitality. Traditionally it is used as a rasayana for long-term strengthening and balancing of the body. It is a classic herb of Chinese Medicine (Hàn Lián Cǎo), used mainly to nourish the Liver and Kidneys, support the hair and address conditions related to Yin deficiency (e.g. premature greying of hair, dizziness, tinnitus).
Perennial herbaceous plant of the Asteraceae family, with low growth, opposite leaves and small white flowers. It thrives in moist soils of tropical and subtropical regions (India, China, SE Asia).
