The Anthemis nobilis tincture, also known as chamomile or Roman chamomile, is made from the flowers of the Anthemis nobilis plant. It is widely used in herbal medicine for its soothing, anti-inflammatory, and antispasmodic properties.

Pharmacological Actions and Properties

1. Spasmolytic – Antispasmodic action

• Mild calming effect on the nervous system, reduces anxiety, nervous tension, and mild insomnia.

3. Anti-inflammatory – Antiseptic action

• Due to its essential oil (mainly angelic acid ester, isobutyl angelate, chamazulene), it has local anti-inflammatory and antiseptic action on the skin and mucous membranes.

Indications for Use

• Colds, mild sore throat (as a gargle or inhalation)

Dosage

15-20 drops in a little water, 2-3 times a day.

Precautions and Side Effects
