Το βάμμα Astragalus, παρασκευασμένο από το φυτό Astragalus membranaceus (γνωστό και ως αστράγαλος ή Huang Qi), χρησιμοποιείται στην παραδοσιακή ιατρική, κυρίως στην Κίνα, για τις τονωτικές, ανοσοενισχυτικές, και αντιφλεγμονώδεις του ιδιότητες.
