Avena sativa tincture, prepared from the plant Avena sativa (also known as bouvalinari or oats), is used in traditional phytotherapy for its sedative, revitalizing and nutritive properties.

Composition of Avena sativa Tincture

Contains:

  • Alkaloids
  • Saponins
  • Flavonoids
  • Polysaccharides
  • Vitamins (e.g. B vitamins)
  • Minerals (e.g. iron, magnesium)

Pharmacological Actions and Properties
