Perennial herbaceous plant of the Ranunculaceae family, 20–30 cm tall, with lobed leaves and small white or bluish flowers. The fruit contains black seeds, which are used for medicinal and nutritional purposes. It grows in Southern Europe, North Africa and the Middle East.

Directions for use
