OR Malva sylvestris, also known as wild mallow, is a herbaceous, perennial plant of the family MalvaceaeIt bears characteristic purple flowers with five petals and palmate leaves. It is endemic to parts of Europe, North Africa and Asia, but is also cultivated on other continents due to its therapeutic properties.
