-Pineapple contains an enzyme called bromelain, which helps break down and digest proteins. Pineapple juice contains vitamin C and beta-carotene, which are antioxidants. This amount of juice covers 63% of an adult's daily manganese needs, 42% of vitamin C needs, and at least 10% of thiamine (vitamin B1) and vitamin B6 needs, while also providing potassium, magnesium, and copper.
