What is it and who is it aimed at?
...it's about that relatively mild disappointment we sometimes feel when things go wrong, e.g. when we miss a bus, fail an exam, we miss an opportunity, and that holds us back.
Often the feeling goes away on its own, but medication can be used to treat it earlier so that we are able to do things our way instead of just hoping they will happen on their own.
Gentian is often confused with Gorse, which is also a remedy for feeling better and less frustrated when things go wrong. The difference is the degree of difficulty in dealing with the circumstances and the person's attitude.
People in the Gorse state decide to give up. They refuse to take the initiative and even if they look for a solution, they will do so reluctantly, assuring everyone that there is no point in trying. People in the Gentian state are less pessimistic and more ready to try again.
Dr. Bach's description
Those who are easily discouraged. They may be progressing well in their illness or in the affairs of their daily life, but any slight delay or obstacle to their progress causes doubts and soon discourages them.
How do we drink it?
Add (2) drops to a beverage of your choice and drink regularly or (2) drops directly onto the tongue. For a combination of multiple remedies, add 2 drops of each essence © (max 7 remedies) to a mixing bottle with a little water and take 4 drops (4) times daily.
