Η ροδιά, Punica granatum, είναι φυλλοβόλος θάμνος ή μικρό δέντρο της οικογένειας Lythraceae. Οι καρποί της είναι πλούσιοι σε αντιοξειδωτικά, ενώ στη φυτοθεραπεία χρησιμοποιούνται κυρίως ο φλοιός, οι ρίζες, τα άνθη και οι καρποί.
