H Tilia tomentosa It is a deciduous tree with large, heart-shaped leaves and a distinctive silvery-green (hairy) underside. It blooms in the summer with drooping yellow, fragrant flowers rich in nectar. It is native to regions of Southern and Central Europe, and is often cultivated in parks and urban environments due to its high resilience.

Pharmacological Actions and Properties

• Antispasmodic: ideal for nerve-related spasms (e.g. stomach or muscle spasms)

• Neurovegetative regulator: balances overactivity of the autonomic nervous system

• Calming: suitable for tension, insomnia, and psychosomatic symptoms

• Mildly antihypertensive in stress-related hypertension

Indications for Use: 

• Panic attacks with rapid heartbeat, sweating, and trembling

• Γενικευμένο άγχος, ευερεθιστότητα, υπερένταση

• Αϋπνία λόγω στρες ή υπερδιέγερσης

• Nervous spasms (e.g. in the gastrointestinal tract)

• Neurovegetative dystonia, psychosomatic with autonomic manifestations

• Sensitive individuals, elderly people, or children with hyperactivity

Directions for Use:
10-20 drops in a little water or herbal tea, 1-2 times a day.  

Precautions and Side Effects:
- Avoid use while driving or operating machinery, as it may cause drowsiness.                                                                                                                   - Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding without consulting a doctor.                                                                                                                                        - In cases of severe hypotension (in sensitive individuals, it may further lower blood pressure due to its vasodilatory effect).                                                                                                                                                       
- Severe central nervous system depression: do not use concurrently with strong anxiolytics or sedative medications without medical supervision.  
- Possible side effects: Skin irritation in sensitive individuals or gastrointestinal discomfort at high doses. 
- Avoid use in children under 6 years old without consulting a specialist.
