ANGELICA CHARACTERISTICS                                                                                                              

Angelica archangelica is a tree from the large Pittosporaceae family, which includes about 90 different species. It originates from the countries of East Asia, but it can also be found in Europe and America. Angelica is a very hardy evergreen shrub, as it can withstand extreme temperatures down to -4°F (-20°C), tough growing conditions such as poor soil, coastal areas, and strong winds. It has lush foliage with glossy, leathery leaves. The plant blooms in May with small, white, fragrant flowers whose scent resembles orange, attracting bees, butterflies, and other beneficial insects. It is a perennial tree and, if not pruned, can reach up to 16 feet (5 meters) in height. When mature, it spreads out to form an umbrella-like shape, creating an ideal ecosystem beneath it where animals, birds, insects, and reptiles find shelter.

HISTORY                                                                                                                                                          

The tree has been cultivated for its medicinal value since at least the 10th century. It is said that a monk dreamed of an angel who revealed to him that the plant had healing properties and could be used as a remedy for the plague. This legend is the origin of the plant's name "Angelica," as it became known thanks to the angel's guidance. In many parts of the world, even today, water infused with angelica is sprinkled for cleansing negative energies. It is also said that the plant was traditionally used during childbirth, as it helped expel the placenta.

CHINESE MEDICINE

Angelica, known as Dang Gui, is used in Traditional Chinese Medicine to support the reproductive system in both genders, mainly for symptoms of menopause and premature ejaculation. It purifies the blood, hydrates the intestines, and lowers blood pressure and blood sugar.
Angelica activates the heart, liver, spleen, and kidney meridians.

INGREDIENTS

Alcohol (in variable ratios 50% - 90%), aerial parts and root of the plant Angelica archangelica. Drinkable, natural extract from mother tincture (D1).

CHEMICAL COMPOSITION OF ANGELICA

Coumarins, umbelliferone, bergapten, xanthotoxin, resin, angelic acid, valeric acid, sugars, volatile oils, pinene, caryophyllene, carotene, nicotinic acid, and other compounds.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

- 30 drops diluted in 1/2 glass of water.
- 1-2 times daily for a specific period or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.
- 20 minutes before meals
