Spring with Ayuverda - New Start!

Spring and autumn are important times of year for detoxifying the body according to the ancient system of Ayurveda.

Spring detoxification is particularly important because it acts as an antidote to the excesses that may have occurred during the winter, due to the body's tendency to accumulate extra food, usually rich in fat, in order to cope with low temperatures.
To maintain health and balance in depth year, Ayurveda suggests a daily detoxification protocol, as it recommends us to incorporate habits which will offer us better health, more energy, a happy mood and will prepare the body for the warmer months ahead.

Lemon water

Start your day with half a lemon squeezed into a glass of lukewarm water.
This simple and so important drink cleanses the digestive tract, detoxifies the liver, stimulates morning bowel movements of the intestine, increases metabolism, prepares the stomach for good digestion. It also keeps the kidneys clean, as the citrates contained in the lemon prevent the formation of stones from calcium oxalates. The slightly sour taste wakes up the body and gives us energy.


Daily tongue cleaning and rinsing of the oral cavity with coconut oil.

We will need:

-1 special tongue cleaner or a soft toothbrush
-1 tbsp melted coconut oil or sunflower oil

How do we do massage?
