It is a natural, unprocessed sweetener derived from the flowers of coconut trees. It is one of the most productive and widespread plants in the world, Cocos nucifera and grows on islands and coastal areas in most tropical climates.
Our Coconut Sugar comes from Java - an island in Indonesia, where high humidity and abundant rainfall provide excellent growing conditions. Unlike other sugar products that are grown as plants only, coconut trees grow in the wild and benefit the ecosystem. According to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, coconut sugar is one of the most sustainable sweeteners in the world, producing up to 75 percent more sugar per hectare than cane sugar.
Coconut sugar is considered to be one of the healthiest types of sweeteners, as it has a naturally low glycemic index (GI). When carbohydrates (starch and sugar) are eaten they are converted into glucose and pumped into the bloodstream. Low glycemic index releases glucose more slowly and steadily, and is therefore better absorbed by the body to control blood sugar levels. Coconut sugar is rated as a GI of 35. In comparison, most products made from cane sugar have a GI of around 68. This makes coconut sugar a better choice when following a low glycemic index diet.
With an abundance of vitamins and 16 amino acids, coconut sugar has a nutritional value superior to other sweeteners.
Glutamine is the predominant amino acid in coconut sugar. Coconut sugar also contains 12 of the essential vitamin B complexes, and is high in inositol.
Refined white sugar contains no nitrogen. Coconut sugar has a sweet caramel flavor and can instantly replace granulated cane sugar in any favorite recipe. Use it in baking, to sweeten chocolate recipes or as an alternative to sweeten drinks.

Necessary conditions are the presentation of the receipt/invoice inside the package and the condition of the products. The products should be like new and not have been opened or used. There are specific products that cannot be returned for health reasons. After we have received and checked your return package, we will then issue the corresponding Voucher/Gift Card with the same amount of money which you will be able to use on our site.
In the event that your products must be fully withdrawn we issue your refund using the same payment method used for the original purchase.
