Sukrin Icing 400g
Sukrin Icing is 100% natural powdered sugar. Sukrin Icing tastes just as sweet as powdered sugar and contains no pure carbohydrates!
Sukrin icing is finely ground Sukrin with a small amount of added steviol glycosides (from the stevia plant). The combination of the two sweeteners creates a round and rich sweet flavor and moderates the cooling sensation that pure Sukrin can cause. Sukrin icing has the same level of sweetness as regular sugar/powdered sugar and is used in the same volume. Since Sukrin glaze is finely ground, it has a higher solubility than ordinary Sukrin.
It is particularly suitable for:
- No-bake cakes and desserts (such as cheesecakes)
- Frosting: cream cheese, buttercream, chocolate frosting, etc.
- Iced teas and other cold drinks
- Smoothies
- Garnish/sprinkles
- Yogurt/quark
Baking with Sukrin Icing
Sukrin glaze can be used for baking in the same way as Sukrin. It has a little more volume. 1 dl of Sukrin weighs 90 g, while 1 dl of Sukrin icing weighs approximately 70 g.
When baking, the amount of Sukrin glaze used should not be more than 1/5 or about 20% of the total volume of the ingredients. For example: There are 100 grams of Sukrin powder in 1 kg of bread dough. This makes up 10% of the total weight, which works out just fine. If the amount of sugar in a recipe is more than 20%, we recommend combining Sukrin icing with sugar or another sweetener, such as Tagatesse. You can also use Sukrin+, which is twice as sweet as sugar, and replace more sugar with less.
When using Sukrin icing to make regular powdered sugar icing (with water/egg white), it might be a good idea to mix 50/50 with regular icing sugar to get the right consistency
Ingredients: Sweeteners erythritol (Sukrin), steviol glycosides.
Note: Excessive use may have a laxative effect.
