ARTEMISIA CHARACTERISTICS
Wormwood (Artemisia absinthium) is a perennial, aromatic plant of the angiosperm family. It originates from the eastern Mediterranean and the regions of North Africa. Its height can reach up to 1.50 meters and its foliage consists of deep green, narrow and lanceolate leaves, about 10 centimeters in length and white underneath. It thrives in warm countries with a temperate climate. We will find wormwood in barren and rocky places as a wild plant. The stem of the herb is silvery-white, fluffy and aromatic. Its flowering occurs in summer with small yellowish-green flowers.
HISTORY
Artemisia has been one of the most important herbs in medicine. Hippocrates attributed the strengthening of memory, vision and improvement of sleep to this plant. He claimed that it helps in treating muscle pain, joints and connective tissues. In ancient Greece, Artemisia was placed in pillows to help with good sleep.
Later, during the plague epidemic, they used the herb to disinfect and protect their homes.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, mugwort is known as Qing Hao. It is recommended as a stomach and spleen tonic. It clears away the dampness and heat that the body has accumulated from the summer sun and cools the blood. It activates the stomach, spleen, and liver meridians.

Flavonoids, azulene, tannins, phenolic acids such as chlorogenic, ferulic,
vanillic acid, lignans, quercetin, kaempferol and other elements.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
- 30 drops diluted in 1/2 glass of water
- 1-2 times a day for a specific period of time or as directed by the doctor or pharmacist.
- 20 minutes before meals

- The consumption of the tincture should be avoided during pregnancy and breastfeeding. If you are taking medication, consult your doctor before use.
