What is it and who is it for?
…is one of the remedies which Dr. Bach collected under the title of Fear.
The Cherry Plum fear is very specific: it is the fear that someone is going to lose control of themselves and do something terrible, such as injure others or harm themselves. Fears of going crazy and acting irrationally are Cherry Plum.
Cherry Plum is also the remedy for the loss of control that has already occurred, due to the frantic fear and terror associated with such situations. Think of the fear a small child feels in the grip of a screaming, irrational tantrum: that too is a Cherry Plum situation.
Cherry Plum is one of the ingredients in Dr Bach's original crisis formula, which he formulated for emergency use.
Dr. Bach's Description
The fear lest the mind be over-strained, the reason give way, lest we do fearful and frightful things, we do not desire and know no wrong, yet the thought and the urge to do them come.
How do we drink it?
Pour (2) drops into a beverage of your choice and drink regularly. or (2) Drops directly onto the tongue. To combine poloniams, add 2 drops of each essence © (max 7 remedies) to a mixing bottle with some water and take 4 drops (4) times a day. For more information on how to swallow, read the user guide .
